ok, so a while back I had PDX make me some emaps, now I have street tuner and I'm planing on getting a meth kit. The thing is though, the PDX maps are in pro tuner format and PDX said they would not reformat them for me. Which in some ways I understand but then again I don't (I did pay for them). They are worried about me knowing how they tune, like I will be able to have any impact on there business when I live in North Dakota. Not that I'm ripping on them though they have amazing customer service and made me some amazing maps. The whole thing just bummed me out.
I've been researching allot about tuning and i just wanted to start tuning for myself on my own car no one else's, and I would like to be able to use my maps.
so to my question dose any one know how I can reformat them myself
like (software, a tuner, anything)
I am willing to pay

Have someone pull the base map from your car with ECUFLASH (hopefully its a complete map) and then just copy it manuall in to street tuner. =P

Really? It's that easy? Cause I have ecuflash I'll have to try it
Thanks
I'm still up for more ideas

Not if the tuner essentially put most of the tune in realtime.

I think it would suck for a tuner to do that on purpose. I can understand if its a basemap size limitation but if not, I would hope the tuner puts the whole tune as a base map.

Most tunes don't fit into the basemap. Also a lot of tuners have started to put there maps in realtime to protect there work.

lets get back to the subject at hand here is there any other way to do what i'm asking besides the possibility of using ECUFLASH
I don't really care if the tune is in the real time map or the base map i just want to know if it is possible and how

wow that sucks. at my protune, the file was saved as both PT and ST.
would another protuner be able to resave the file, or is it locked?

Alot of people save as protuner map so you cant mess with them. or share the maps. It does protect them but tuning is not majic Its optimizing. If the customers dont have st. I save them as a protune map. If they have a st I save it as a st map so if they decide they want to play with it then its on them.
