If I was to clear the CEL that I would get for a TGV delete. Would the code come back after a certain amount of time, or is the CEL for that Specific sensor permanently cleared, until I reflash or something to that sort.

I'm just trying to figure out whether I need the APS delete system or just pnp my stock tgv's.

was it defeated within the tuning, or just cleared?

if it was just cleared, it will come back. it needs to be defeated in the software then reflashed in order to keep it form coming back.

I haven't done this yet. I want to know if it can be defeated when tuned, I'm assuming by your answer that it can. Can anyone verify this?

That way I can save 250 on tgv's, and have cobb just clear it out for good.

yes the CEL can be defeated. I have my TGV CEL defeated with street tuner :D.

however, i can tell you from recent experience, defeating a CEL does not guarantee you will pass an emissions OBDII scan...
