Looks like the crash from Freejack.

I have no idead about the cause of that. Looks absolutely horrible though. Seems to be F3 or Formula Nippon from the early 90s.

I'm sure a couple of cars touched tires, there's no other way to send someone airborne like that. Pretty crazy!

Looks like one dude was on the side ghostriding his whip to impress the crowd while the other dude, not to be outdone, headed straight for the backend of the car, hitting tires at the perfect angle to send him airborne with a perfect view of the crowd whilst in the air... What you can't see, is that he's actually doing the "Westside" symbol with his hands

im from the bay area where people ACTUALLY Ghostride everyday, to hear people NOT from around here say stupid stuff like that is pretty darn amusing.

You guys have no clue what its all about, its great seeing 15 people sitting ON TOP of a chevy van in Traffic at like 5 PM going stupid skitzo on the roof.

please dont use the lingo or try and sound cool, your not from here. its apparent

I think he was using the terminology tongue-in-cheek, since anyone that thinks ghost riding is cool is clearly a douche bag. I guess that would be you?

So only people from the totally awesome Bay Area can talk about how cool ghostriding is? I don't care where you or the "roots" of ghostridin' come from, that crap is retarded. Anyone who thinks it is cool is also retarded.

Seriously though, does anyone have a solid idea of what track/series/driver/etc this is?

Taskashi Yokoyama, F3, Fuji Speedway. R.I.P.

FUJI SPEEDWAY, Japan (Oct 19, 1997 - 11:28 EDT) - A race car driver
died after a crash during the All-Japan Formula Three race at the Fuji
Speedway on Sunday, the same course where a Formula One accident
killed two people 20 years ago.

The accident occurred when Takashi Yokoyama, 25, crashed his car into
another car from behind on the home stretch at the end of the first
lap of the race on the 4,470-metre (2.8-mile) course Sunday morning.

Yokoyama's car was thrown into the air and heavily damaged after
crashing into a five-meter (16.5 feet) electric signboard, killing the
driver.

Soon after the start of the race, two cars crashed and a yellow flag
had been issued, but Yokoyama apparently did not notice the flag and
stormed into the home straight while other drivers had slowed down.

The accident forced the organizers to cancel the race, the ninth leg
of the 10-round series, in which 22 cars had entered.

I'm from the Bay Area too. Most of the people that live here aren't nearly as proud of their ignorance as you seem to be.

If you need a big brother to volunteer to take you to the library (not the 'libary' as you call it) to see what books look like, and to possibly try and get a few new words added into your vocabulary, don't be afraid to ask.

 Wow, way to make the rest of the Bay Area people look like douches. Dissociate your juvenile ego from the rest of the people who live here. You rep yourself, not the Bay Area.

I've noticed a lot of that in (Japanese) motorsports and sports commentary. Whenever they get pretty excited, they scream. It's not much different from American commentary... except that while the American commentators watch a crazy sports moment in silence (from awe or what have you)and screaming afterward, the Japanese commentators keep talking throughout the event.

I think that the Porsche flipped three times that year and two of them where with Webber in the. I also heard that he was given a breathalizer (sp?) afterwards because he landed on a public street.
