Ok so i mounted the AP in my car with the cell phone thingy. Now When i cut the car off it stays on. Do i just have to unplug it evertime or is there a way i can cut it off?

have to unplug it, but do it the easy way and unplug from the ap not the obd2 port. thats just so your not fumbling around everytime you plug it in

an off switch or a reset switch would be awesome, unplugging it when i turn off the car or unplugging it when it (still) will freeze up is too much of a hassle

yeah maybe they could make that happen in a new update or something. Seems like $700 and you should be able to cut it off.lol. I know they were rushed and all so just a suggestion.

yes i understand this but then the live data such as Boost/MPH/REV/0-60/1/4 mile/ECT...would just be a very pointless data unless you have a computer hooked up to it for a while to log all of it then take it back out of the car. My suggestion is to have a way to cut it off. That's all i ask.

How about if you installed a USB switch in between two cables. This way when you switch it the power will be remove from the cable, thus turning the unit off. Search for a 2.0 USB manual share switch.
