Did anybody try tuning a stock STI (ECUTek, Protune, any other one, doesn't matter) without changing anything? What power gains did you see? I know that the cats are retrictive, and I know that throwing in a K&N filter would help too, the mods can go on and on, so I thank in advance all the folks who would try to steer this thread into that direction. ;)

But all I'm trying to find out is what power gains the stock setup is good for. If there is already a thread with that info, I would appreciate a link to it.

Thanks, guys.

P.S. If nobody ever done that, please dont hesitate to throw in your best guess.

I just realized I maybe posted in the wrong forum. I'll try Tuning then.

here's some good reading for you...http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1125595&highlight=topspeed

there are dramatic gains to be discovered with a reflash only.

Yeah, that thread makes me feel good about buying an 07. I had an option of getting a new 06 for a little better price but in the end opted for 07.

Yep, recently sold it and MISS IT sooo much. I need COBB to release their Access Port already.
