05 2.5 RS:I am leaking oil from somewhere but cant find the source. I lose about 2 quarts between 3000 mile oil changes. The timing cover was cracked by the loose battery during a fender bender and replaced by the body shop. Could it be seals behind there, if so is that a real difficult job to replace. I have medium mechanical ability. I replace the oil plug washer (oem) every change and am always careful not to leave the old oil filter gasket in place. Does anyone have any ideas where else to look, or ideas of detecting the leak. Thanks.

That seems like quite a bit of oil for a leak that's not obvious. You may want to check the coolant to make sure it's not going in there (a head gasket).
