Hi all -
My wife and I just bought a Baja, so we're looking to get rid of her old car. It's the car listed in the title, and it has 155,000 miles and some change on it. It runs great, but the outside could use some work.
It would need new trim pieces (the black pieces) on both doors, and one small piece on the drivers front fender. It also has some damage to the passenger front fender that would require bodywork, as well as the rear passenger fender, above the wheel. It also has a dent on the passenger door (no paint damage). These are all things that need to be fixed, but you can't really see them from 20 feet.
The car is bright red, and the paint is in pretty good condition. Second owner - we bought it in 2000 with around 30k. It has no mechanical problems at all and has a fresh oil change. Interior is in great shape, and she's been using seat covers...
I'll take the best offer. The dealer didn't want anything to do with it. They told me they'd take it for $100, but bluebook says much more than that for private party value, so I figure I'll try to sell it.
It would be a great track or beater car. I would use it to commute, but I don't have a Sirius radio in it! If it doesn't sell, however, I absolutely will go buy another Sirius unit and rack up some more miles on it!
Oh, and it has stock 2000 Impreza RS (6 spoke) wheels on it too. They come with the car, and have some scratches and scuffs on them, but they are round!
I'm in Odenton - come on out and see it! Pictures are coming, but they'd do no good right now because the car is COVERED in salt.
