Lately I have been seeing a black wagon, and two silver sedans driving around Taos, NM. I was just wondering if you guys where in here, or any other WRX's in the area for that matter.
BTW, I am the one cruising around in the blue WRX or the Black S4.
Thanx

I and a coworker live in Las Cruces with white and silver WRX's respectively. Neither one of us has been north of Alb. nmyeti is in Alb along with a few others. I think he has a blue one (and is REALLLLLY fast).

Have fun up there.

Portablevcb, Thats strange, I've never seen a New Age impreza in LC except for the OBS.

We should see how fast your cars are some night out at the "drag strip" behind A mountain. My SHO's best is a flat 100mph at the bump. (slightly more than a 1/4 mile).

I have had mine since May (16,000 mi) and my coworker has had his since Oct. I am usually driving around town on weekends (mostly the East side). Since I live on the East Mesa and work on White Sands, I am not in town much during the week.

I'll wait for the "drags" for a while. I need a revised torque convertor with higher stall speed before I would be a challenge at the "strip". Right now I can get a good launch only by revving in neutral then slipping into drive, something I don't like to do very much (and only on dirt). Probably next summer some time.

See you around.

Eh, should give it a quick try sometime anyway. The surface isn't the best which helps train people how to launch better anyway. Its some of that tar and gravel surface, and more than a little bit of the gravel is still loose if you venture off the main traffic path, and it frequently has a light coating of sand.
