Hi All,

I'm planning to do a simple drain and fill on my WRX Wagon with automatic transmission. I've read that the AT fluid capacity is around 10 quarts, but I need to know how many quarts will actually drain out during this procedure so I know how many quarts of ATF to buy.

If anyone has done this before, could you please let me know how much fluid I need before tackling this job? Thanks in advance!

I drained a measured 4.2 quarts out of my 4EAT.
