Hi, may anyone tell me where can i find those conversion-charts for:

Eg. Size of rim (17" by 8") : Size of tyre (? by ? by ?)

235x45x17 is recommended for 17x8's on a subaru. Every car is a little different on recommendations, so I haven't really seen a chart. Tire rack does list what is a good size depending on car and wheel that you choose through them.

235/45 is too tall, at least for a WRX or RS, IMO. You probably want 205/55-16, 225/50-16, 225/45-17, 235/40-17 (a little shorter than stock) or 245/40-17 for an impreza, depending on your needs.


Check out http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html and try to pick a new size that is close to your original size.

Most of the better know tire companies have charts on there websites that tell you the recommended rim size for a given tire and tire size.
