I know this has been covered before, I just cant really find the exact answers I'm looking for. I am currently running cobb stage 2 full catless and really would like some more power. I am going to be getting a lighter pully in the next week or 2. I want to go stage 3, but this is a daily driver and my only car at the moment and I want it to stay reliable. Could anyone give me some ideas for the most power while staying reliable and keeping turbo lag to a minimum. I think stage 3 is pretty much the only thing next I can do?? Sorry again if this has been covered a million times, I just couldn't find the exact answers I was looking for. I was maybe thinking STI turbo W/ pinks and fuel pump and better TMIC!?

Your best bet to meet your goals is a protune. Custom tuning wakes up your car and there is no turbo with less lag than your stocker.

^^^ what he said, unless you don't mind sacrificing a little more lag for more power from a bigger turbo...

I dont mind turbo lag, just would like to keep it a minimum. I just want it well rounded for off the line and top end.

I would save some money on the side and do a protune.

Dont waist your money and time with the pulley

I figured the pulley would help a lot, depending on which one you get, they are about 4lbs lighter than stock, thats kind of a lot in terms of rotating mass isnt it?? And in turn would make the car a little bit quicker, enough to be worth about $100!?!?
Any more advise on this is greatly appreciated Thanks a lot guys

I could go into why I feel the pulley is a waist of time and money, unless you've done just about everything else you can think of to your car, you have money burning a hole in your pocket and you're board, based on my experiences and articles read, but this is an ECU management forum. This topic can be further disscussed and researched in powertrain forums.

i say go for the turbo, tmic, and injectors, and add a protune to the list. at around the 16 g size and below, you are fine reliability wise given the tune is good, and you know how to drive.

Tminus- I had this in powertrain, it got moved here for some reason....I was just mentioning the pulley, and I thought the facts I said were correct, I could and may be wrong, that was just the impression I was under

Hondaeater- Thanks for the advise, that is what I am leaning towards right now, just need to find a place around me to get the tune done......Know of any package deals for that set up??

Definately go protune!
