I bought a 2005 preowned San Remo Red 2.5RS last year. The previous owner had a WRX spoiler installed. I want a trade it for a plain RS trunk if possible. Anyone local who has a San Remo Red RS, looking for a WRX spoiler?

Good luck, ive been waiting almost 2 years to find someone with a spoilerless SRR trunklid to trade with.

Your best bet if you have to have it done is just take it to a reputable local shop and let them weld the holes shut, and repaint the trunk.

Sorry i cant give you any better advise than that.

Thanks for the advice. What you mentioned is not even my last resort. Reason being that the spoiler does not really bother me that much. It is just that the RS does not have a hood scoop, so for sheer consistency I want a "clean" trunk if possible.
