Just wondering if it is safe to use them...anyone use them on the track without issues or have failures?

I know Porsche has been running them for years, but it's more of a question of which aluminum alloy is used and what anodizing process did they go through to harden them.

There have been plenty of posts here where guys have had zero issues, and others that strip them the second time they take them off...again it's more of which companies you use as the alloy in question is different as is the anodizing method.

Probably not the type of answer you were looking for...sorry.

no, that is helpful. I've got a set I picked up cheap, I just wasn't sure if it is safe to use them at all. If I get them on there fine (I'll use ~ 68 ft lbs), is it pretty safe to assume they are gonna stay on there...meaning not break and have my wheel fly off?

We always had good experience with Project Kics 2 piece floating lugs.
Make sure you torque the lugs correctly and you should never have any problems.
