I really need any and everyone's input on this. Please don't wast this post with hatred. I posted in this forum because I have reason to believe the problem is mechanical now not tunning.
I am still having the "lean point" issue on my STI. Adam at Rev. Tuning was unable to do anything in the tune to help with the issue.
*To update you with what is happening If I am cruising in any gear, but lets say in 4th for example, my Wideban A/F gauge is bouncing in the yellow (stoich) where it is supposed to be. When I let off and go into down rev it goes "lean" (red) , like it is supposed to, but then when I give it a little gas again steadily to keep speed it goes up into the yellow and then falls back into the red before going to where it is steadily supposed to in the yellow again. You can feel the car slightly hesitate or burp when it does this.
-The gauge is a wideban AEM gauge with both a color and digital readout.
-Car does it on-and-off (I can drive from work to with no problem, then later when I drive after dinner it will do it. Sometimes on and off while driving on one trip.)
-I have a new front 02 sensor, new spark plugs, and cleaned my MAF sensor like I was advised to.
-Adam spoke with COBB yesterday who said there is nothing they can do because the PERRIN BIG MAF is a product they are unnable to tune effectively.
-I drove my car 2 1/2 months with NO ISSUES until my car shuttof while crusing (due to my keychain getting stuck and turning the key) then turned it back on and drove to work. That night I noticed this occuring.
-Adam thought it might be my HKS SSQ but it does this under no boost. He advised me to go to a Blow-through-MAF setup, which I am.
-However, I feel this problem may be something else mechanical since this problem just occured. I would like to find the problem before I spend anymore money on power. :-(
Injectors? anything????????

Nothing, no one has input. It does it on and off. I can drive for miles with no problems and then all of a sudden it will happen.

Has anyone else heard of this with a Perrin BIG MAF? Will a blow through setup really help???

sounds like the hks might be leaking actually.
