Hello everyone,

well i finally got my tbe /up to run stage 2 today, i put everything on and went to flash my base & real maps, but when i go plug it in it says that the car is already using an AP map!!!! from my knowledge the car was bone stock that i bought from the dealership and i know that the previous owner had the car repo'd. what do i do now? i tried to flash the stock map with my AP but it won't let me because it's already married! i'm not sure what to do, the car drives great and pulls great, there are no CEL's (yet) , does anyone have any experience with this? any help would be great, thanks everyone. i'm running an 02 wagon w/ cali stage 2 . let me know what i can do, thanks!

I say take it back to the dealership and have them reflash the computer to stock. I know they have the equipment for that, but how to get them to do it is up to you. Cobb I imagine could help but that would mean that you would need to ship out your ECU to them.

Or get someone from here that is local to you to flash it.

will i still be able to have it flashed to stock without the AccessPort it belongs to? the dealer is actually an independant dealer not a Subaru Dealership so i won't be able to take it back to him. there are a few local tuners i can take it to , will they be able to help me out? thanks for the feedback guys, keep it coming!

i dont know where you are from, but if you find someone with a tactrix cable they can flash you back to stock. not sure if that would un-marry the AP though.

hmmm, i would need it to be unmarried so i can marry my own current AP with it, sheesh what a predicament. i forgot to look at my boost gauge to see what target boost i was hitting, i might be on stage 2 now since the pull is really nice, but if that was the case then i've been driving on stage 2 when i was stock, or vice versa, haha.

If you can get someone to flash the applicable MY stock map it will delete the COBB map, thus unmarrying your ECU...then marry your AP to it.

so let me get this right. Your car is stg.2 and you want it stock? I'm sure a subaru dealer could flash it for you.

Is your AP actually un-married?
