I have had a problem for a long time with my TunerPro. It is one of the originals that is shown in the pdf that is on their site. I am looking at a wiring illustration of how the wires are supposed to be laid out in the plug/harness and they do not match up to how mine are. Also, My TunerPro will display "Err" unless exhaust is actually flowing thru it or if the car is off but was just running moments earlier. It is as if the heater element is not working, but it didnt used to do this. Also, The dislpay never reports that the sensor temp is too low or too high.

Here is where I got the wiring diagram:
http://wbo2.com/cable/6066schb.gif

The part numbers all Match up. On mine, the blue and green wires are crossed.
Blue should be on pin 5 and green on pin 6, but mine are backwards. This would cause the calibration wire to get the heater voltage and visa versa. It has been like this since I got it but started acting up a while back but I ignored it since the sensor seemed to work fine while driving, and it still does.

Can somebody else please verify their wiring and compare against mine to see if mine are really backwards?

I get 12.5volts on my green wire(pin5) and 7.8volts on my blue(pin6) wire.

Also, when I have the sensor out but plugged in and power up the Tuner, the sensor never gets very hot. I can touch it and its barely luke-warm.

When I pop the circular CalR cap and measure the voltage on the pins there I get 7.8v on both sides of the doo-dad.

Here is a link to more info:

Thanks,
Jeff

When I first got it I mounted the tuner inbetween the passenger seat and the center console. The cables comming out of the back of the unit were making a sharp bend to the left to get to the front of the car towards the utec/power/etc. With the tuner like this for several months, it worked just fine and it would read Fr.A If I turned the key without starting it, and I was able to do a free-air calibration like that. After having it like that for a while I moved it to a din-pocket below my stereo and upon straitening up the wires comming out the back, the unit would not work. I found that bending the wires sharply like they had been for months made it work just fine again. However, It shows "Err" if I just turn the key without starting, unless there is exhaust in the pipe. It never says that the sensor is too hot or too cold, but it will say "disconnected" in the hyperterminal menu. If I start the car it will do the countdown again and then work perfectly.

So, in a nutshell:

WB sensor does not get HOT; it barely gets luke-warm, maybe 85deg f.
Tuner shows "Err" on the front and the menu says it is "Disconnected", with no mention of too cold or too hot If there is no exhaust in the pipe and the car has not been running for at least a few minutes.
If I start the car, the sensor works perfectly. No errors.

Does anybody know the proper heater voltage? Is ~12v correct? I cannot find it anywhere on the internet.
