Someone needs to look at this reflash and see what actually has been changed - the maps only or the maps + something COBB and other tuners rely on?

COBB Tuning and probably others are currently using the non-reflashed 07 STIs and 07 WRXs for their R&D and this may create serious incompatibility issues depending on what areas of ECU this reflash affects.

It doesn't matter. If they use the old calibration and do their own fix, the AP will completely overwrite your current rom with theirs regardless of what rom revision you were running.

And the only way one of us in the community can look at it is if someone with an 07 sti reads their own rom (updated with the new Subaru calibration) with Ecuflash and posts it up somewhere.
