Just got my full catless TBE installed and finally flashed stage 2 a couple hours ago.
I like the way the car feels, the car isnt burning fast but it is smoother to drive and the power seems to come on a little sooner.
Problem is, really havent gone anywhere in it yet except for a quick test run, but I am only showing around 12 maybe 13psi max boost in 3rd and 4th gear. It just wont climb any higher. When I was stage 1 I was looking at around 14.5 which I believe is normal. How long will it take the ecu to learn? I pulled the negative cable from the battery after I flashed and let it idle for a little while before I drove it.
The car does feel different, but I am just wondering if it is using its full potential yet. Also should mention that the wastegate is ported, if that matters.
Any help is appreciated.

hey, i went to H.S. in slumbard:) Anyways back to the topic, it could take a little while for it to learn. Try to give it some gas every now and then so it gets used to it. Are you sure you flashed to stg. 2 and not another map? If you want more power i would suggest a protune. Goodluck.

If you could do some data logging, it may look like this:

That is from my car when I had the AP (v1). Stg1 peak boost is higher because it is overshooting. Assuming the right map is loaded it won't get better by itself. People may tell you that the ECU needs to learn but there is really no learning associated with the boost.

Two other local Cobb stg2 '06 WRX could barely get to 14psi on a good day.

You could:
1) Shorten the WG actuator arm
2) Get the car tuned to increase the WGDC limits in the maps. They are pretty low in the OTS stg2 map.

I recommend you do some data logging if you could and have a look at the ignition timing...interesting things happens below 3800RPM

Is this a V2 Accessport?

Is your AP the newest firmware? If it isn't I'd do the update and let us know if that solves the problem

If not, give it a couple hundred miles to learn and report back.

There is no need to reset the ECU after flashing a base map. Flashing the ECU will automatically do that.

when I was running the OTS stage2, I was below target boost as well. I cranked the wastegate arm a few turns and it was fine after that. Now that I'm TDC e-tuned, my arm is back to normal because I was overshooting boost targets.

Might wanna try the HWG stage 2 map, if cobb has it fpr the '06 WRX
