How does resetting the ECU affect warranty coverage? Has anyone come across any issues with this? Is there any way the dealership can tell if you have reset your ECU?

resetting the ECU has no effect on the coverage.

dealers tell you to reset the ECU all the time actually.

I've been told that for tough CE codes it may take as many as 6 resets to clear if the issue is really resolved.

Resetting your ECU would affect your warranty the same way, say, changing the presets on your radio would. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/tongue.gif http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif

Yeh, Tha't about all the damage it will do. Erase all of your presets and the clock.
