Alright, so I have a MY2004 WRX, and am wondering on whether or not I should remove the stock foglights.
I'd end up replacing them with the WRX or STi foglight covers... just doing it because I don't really need the lights, and it'd be nice to have a cleaner front end, not to mention weight loss.

Ideas?

If you don't need the lights then go for it. It's your car so do what you'll be happy with.

Don't know how much weight you'd actually save. Personally, I like extra night at night, so I'll be keeping mine, and probably even upgrading them. I do understand the "clean" factor you're looking for, though.

You don't need to remove the foglights to install the covers. All you have to do is take off the fog light surrounds and install the sti covers. Thats what I did after installing my hids and I think the front looks alot better with the covers

yea, i had also thought about that... might do that approach, fogs in the winter and covers in the summer...
like i said, i'm pretty indecisive about it at the moment, just kind of getting a feel of what everyone else thinks :)

He has an 04-05, they don't make grill covers for our fogs.

Yea, I think I'm just going to stick with the fogs for the time being, and down the road if I go mostly STi parts on the car I'll change it, or just go with JDM fogs :)

well that is gay.....send then to me an I'll make some. I have stainlless steel mesh that is same stuff as the 02-03 fog covers
