someone please help me, i bought a 2006 wrx tr back in march of last year. at 10,000 miles i had to bring it into the shop for a pulsing brake pedel and the cd player not working. they turned the rotors and fix the cd player. then at 17,000 miles i had to bring it in again for the same problems. again the did the same repairs and i got it back. then at 22,000 i had to bring it in for the same problems again inaddition to a stalling problem. well in heavy stop and go traffic when i depress the clutch the ideal drops to 500 rpm's then jumps to 1500 rpm's and then drops off and stalls. when this happens the airbag light comes on and i have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. i took it to the shop and they "0" ed the airbag and replaced the sensor in the clock. then two weeks later it happened again. again it shows a code 26 ( what is this) and the "0" the airbag and then tech can not get it to stall well it is at the shop. i have talked to subaru of america and because it does not display a check engine light they can not find the problem. i have been getting no help from subaru. i told them they need to buy the car back and sell me a new one. but they wont because the problem does not happen while its at the shop. i need help there is a electrical probelm and this is not a safe car to drive. can anyone help me....:furious:

you may want to post in the electrical & lighting forum, not the subiesport forum.

Have you modified your car? The airbag, the ignition and fueling are all different systems. Perhaps try an independent Subaru shop. Perhaps you should ask the exact code and then look that up. You can do that through google and the techs should be able to tell you exactly what the code refers to.

the only aftermarket part on the car at a spt intake and a turbo xs bov. these should not cause any problems with the electrical system to cause it to stall. i dont want to take it to somewhere where i have to pay to get it worked on. the dealership should look into it. and i was told (by the dealership and subaru of america) i have to wait till it happens when they have it for the them to even do anything about it. so im done with it i just wanted people to know about this. im just gonna trade it in. i dont want it to be my problem anymore

maybe your car is running to lean with the intake, and when you depres the slutch, the BOV makes a rich condition..i odn't know much about turbo subaru's, but from what i recall, most often with these mods they really do need a tune to run properly.

did these problems occur with the facotry pieces? have you tried switching them for the stock pieces, or resetting the ECU, and maybe seeing if a tune-up would help?

Actually this does not belong here, and since you've already posted the same thing in the maintenance forum it's a crosspost which is not permitted.
