I have a set of wheels which the previous owner had the lip polished. 7 years later the wheels are scratched and need to be repainted. Before I have them repainted I was going to have the lip re-polished as the lip has some oxidation spots and could look better.

Is this something I can do myself? Any suggested walk-through websites? Or because the lip is such a small area would it be best to pay someone to do this?
