ive been doing some research on the ebay tmic. alot of people are saying they fit pretty decent and work well also. the only thing is they are a pretty tight fit on a wrx. does anyone know if there will be any hood clearance problems on a swapped rs? i want to make sure its going to fit before i buy one. thanks

I've been wondering the same thing. It seems I have more clearance from the top of my wrx tmic to my firewall than on the GD chassis, so I personally think it will. Someone needs to find a friend who has one on a GD and do a test fit ;)

hmmm looks like i might end being the guinea pig on this one. ill wait a few more days and see if i get any other info.

They fit... but it's tight. You'll need to bent the ac line and trim the bottom of the studs for the hoodscoop.

My buddy had a Spearco TMIC on his swapped 98, and it fit fine.
