Same car from the 355whp thread.. This was on pumpgas
60ft 1.74
330 5.14
1/8 7.94
MPH 89.1
1000 10.36
1/4 12.39
MPH 111.9
Trapped a best of 112.3 as well on pumpgas It made 315-320 with 350-360TQ on pumpgas. Last time out it went 108.XX with more or less the same power .. or so we thought.. but the TQ was about 30less.
Sunday its back to the track on the 100octane map.
MeetMrGlock 03-15-2007, 12:46 AM nice job on the stock turbo.

Straight 93octane, summer blend. No meth injection. I was pretty surprised with the 112mph on the other pass. To bad we picked the night were it was 75 degrees out.. LOL.. Hopefully sunday it will be cooler and we get some 12.1@114+ out of it on the 100oct.
Junior
Very impressive driving last night. The car definitely has more left in it.
And let's not forget about the noticeable head wind last night.
ride5000 03-15-2007, 11:24 AM i think paulrex deserves a banana!
edit: one for you too, jr.
Awsome... I've only tuned a few cars on summer 93 and was simply blown away with what you can get away with on that stuff. Going from out cali 91 it really feels like running race gas :D
GetSideways 03-15-2007, 04:33 PM Nice numbers you asssholes.....
Junior2JZ 03-15-2007, 04:41 PM Nice numbers you asssholes.....
Bob-o drove the PISS out of the poor thing.. You need to get the track.

Yea the summer blend is much nicer than the winter garbage.. Winter crap is like 91 octane I bet.. Hopefully she runs good on sunday.. Even though its suppose to SNOW  It was 75 or so yesterday.... WTF

 right back at ya!
Those are great times though, the owner knows how to drag race definatly!
I really hope this car goes 11s on race gas but thats a tall order I guess to pick up four tenths on race gas.. either way thats a fast Sti
GetSideways 03-15-2007, 04:50 PM Bob-o drove the PISS out of the poor thing.. You need to get the track.
Yeah I didnt even know you guys were going, but i thought it was gonna rain so I probably wouldnt have gone anyway....
That car pulls real hard, it feels much different than the last time i was in it......the tune must be just right...ha ha
Get back on a cool 40+/- dergree day, with some good gas, maybe some alchy/meth (get that biatch drunk), and have Bobosaurus stick a money run with a 112+mph trap....see what pans out.....
hopefully no turbo blades!
GetSideways 03-15-2007, 04:57 PM Maybe some headers too.....
I have a set im willing to lend for the cause
PolarisSnT 03-15-2007, 04:59 PM Awesome tune and awesome driving. Only going to get faster in colder weather + 100oct.

his car would be well into the 11s then, really any of our cars gain so much from nitrous but its a power adder and its dangerous (to your motor) if you dont set it up properly and tune it right (is tuning with nitrous much different JR?).. not that people go out there and half ass a nitrous setup but it can happen i guess. Also on any stock bottom end man id be worried about the engine making TOO MUCH power and snapping a rod or something like that. in anycase your comment is weaksauce and i dont really see its relavance.

Yea the summer blend is much nicer than the winter garbage.. Winter crap is like 91 octane I bet..
Its all relative I guess... if your winter 93 is like 91, then our cali 91 must be like 89 :D

uuuuummmmmm chill out.....the relavance mr subie specialist. Was to make it go even faster(well into the 11's thats the point of drag racing i thought but I might be "WEAKSAUCE" ). Whats wrong with power adders:huh: . WTF is a ****ing turbo:confused: . If we are being mr.serious and careful with our motors. What the hell are we doing modding them at all. Also Subaru's arent drag cars......incase u couldnt tell it was a random bull**** comment. u really think hes gonna do it because i posted.....SPRAY IT. If that worked Id post for you "SLIT YOUR WRIST" . Dont bother replying I wont read it cause i dont really freaking care. "This is only pointed to Paul no one else. I think people should do what they want to there cars and I think it is awesome that he is making good times." You can email me if there is any further questions vteclvlc@aol.com so we dont waste anymore of this sites bandwidth. :D

Yea, but good luck with the 1.5 60' on a VF-39! 1.6s are possible though, which should propel you into high 11's.
Keep us updated. :D
doug*E*fresh 03-16-2007, 06:31 PM use launch control. Such as the one on UTEC. u can get 1.5 60's on aftermarket clutch at least i know that ive seen it.......launching on full boost is an experience to say the least.

ive never done it jus seen it done.........my clutch doesnt even hold out of the hole ur asking the wrong person for slips
Junior2JZ 03-16-2007, 10:15 PM I dont know about hitting 1.5s it just doesnt have the power yet.... I think mid 1.6s will happen next time out with the LC on.. LC, flatfoot and 100octane. Im guessing 12.0-1s @ 114+ mph... Then we add the external and headers
GetSideways 03-19-2007, 08:52 AM Just neutral drop it....
Ctracer911 03-20-2007, 02:27 AM Just neutral drop it....
i heard a rumor it was auto....... Junior reasured me he just has no mercy on the tranny hahahhahaha  POWER SHIFTING FTW!!! nice stuff, and one hell of a driver
Junior2JZ 03-25-2007, 10:38 PM 12.24@113.8mph... Slippery track conditions.. This was on the 100oct map.
Best MPH 114.XX .. Car was badly heat soaked from 2+hr drive to the track. Got there late and the track closed in 1 hr so the car got no cool down and wouldnt make over 21psi.
Headers and external go on this week.. Car is 100% full weight still.. Everything is in it, including track tools. Im sure if we can get the thing to hit 24psi and hold onto another 2-3 psi we will be in the 12.0-11.9 range.. Still debating throwing on the FMIC..
ICSPerformance 03-26-2007, 01:22 AM cant wait to see 11's from robby. Should be soon.

Nice times guys... that 114mph trap deffinately has 11's potential :D
ICSPerformance 03-26-2007, 03:59 AM Damn your car must have been hot, I never thought i would see a 1.8 60ft from you. Next friday I am down for going to the track, ill bring the ice and the camera Robby. This time your going 11's
GetSideways 03-26-2007, 10:17 AM Yeah the car was super hot, as we rally raced from Long Island (over 2 hours) to get there by 4pm to get in 3-4 runs before it closed at 5pm. There wasnt even any water in the stock intercooler sprayer.....
It was also about 58 degrees, the car was cutting 1.8xx's spinning the tires in the 60ft....
3 runs: 12.33 , 12.24, 12.25 nice consitancy
This car has some better times left in it at this power level....
I took a video of a few runs and will try to post it later today
stay tuned for more
STi-JDM 03-26-2007, 02:22 PM dang that's a good number... I need to learn how to drive... :(

caser 03-26-2007, 11:58 PM Thanks, but any props about this car or the way it runs should go to Junior. The only thing I do is drive the P.O.S.;)
Junior2JZ 03-27-2007, 12:09 AM Yea.. If George didnt let me work on the car during the day.. It would never get done. LOL. . .
Bob.. You drive the dingdong out of the car.. Wednesday night we try again... Thanks for the burning image of you doing the burnout at the red light.. LOL...
caser 03-27-2007, 12:16 AM Yeah, you like those HEAVY METAL burnouts, dont ya!!! So does my diff... :furious:

Calitri-Boost 03-27-2007, 06:43 AM very impressive times! will be sweet if you can hit 11.9
aps2fast4u 03-27-2007, 11:36 AM ^^^ I'd say it's def. doable based on current times and HP/TQ figures for the car....Now, it's time to step it up and beat the 11.7 stock turbo STi!!! It's gonna be tough, but if there's any car that could do it, I would say it's this one....
Driving skills FTW!

newstiturbo 03-27-2007, 06:25 PM u will see me there...hopefully i'll make it back home with my car lol
Evil STI 03-27-2007, 06:33 PM 12.3 @ 111mph has already been done with an '06 STi, on a very conservative tune on pump gas.

I would go out on a limb to say that any stock turbo STI trapping over 110 is not on a very conservative tune. Im not saying its aggressive.. but its defenitly not conservative. This car trapped 112 on pumpgas.. While I dont think its aggressive.. I would not say its a conservative tune.. but its still safe and the car has about 14k with the same tune.
Dont worry Ed :D .. I dont think she will run 11.7s.. I will be happy with a 11.99999 and that 115-116 mph trap. The FP Green and FMIC are just sitting around collecting dust until that happens..
a04subaruwrxSTi 03-27-2007, 11:43 PM not on the stock turbo.
they has been occurances where a few ppl hit high 11s with the stock vf-39 turbo search for thread!:D

That was exactly my thought when Sean went to the track... then I got an excited call that almost floored me.... "first run, 11 - 7!"
I honestly didn't expect that at all. So who knows how far this little snail can go? Maybe your car will go 10.7

... and when we hit the end of the line, switch to twin vf39s.

Don't think that's going to happen till cobb fixes the problem or he switches EM...

Oh I know... we're going to resolve this issue one way or another!
