Has anyone compared the quality/performace of Whiteline parts to Cuzco, Cobb, and Syms? Whiteline products are sometimes a third of the cost of the other major labels. Should I buy Whiteline or spend a lot more for Cuzco...

I've been shopping hard for swaybars and have researched them for the past month or so.

So far I keep comming back to the Whiteline Rear Adjustable w/endlinks.

Here's my rationale:

The whiteline's settings START at "stock" and progress from there with two more settings. That way if I find out that stock is good for some situations (snow?) I can always revert.

Endlinks - some folks say the stock ones are fine - but when I found out that they are rubber, and since the point of a stiffer sway bar is to snug up the handling, it makes sense to me to get the replacement endlinks

Other brands - Cusco is more $$ so that kills them since I haven't found any thing compelling reasons to justify the extra dough
M2 makes great gear - but their's is stiffer so I can't start from a stock setting and progress upwards. Most folks on the i-club use the medium setting on the whiteline so I don't forsee needing anything stiffer than that, well, until I enter my car in the ALMS :)

Bonus - Whiteline sells Heavy-duty mounts for the swaybars - according to them, and others, these aren't necessary unless you are using a REALLY stiff bar.

Bonus2 - front swaybars - not necessary - will only exscerbate the understeer found on the WRX. Unless you have all sorts of other suspension mods, I wouldn't bother

Bonus3 - Check out the Anti-lift-kit - looks like a good mod for better handling. Also Whiteline has awesome tech docs on their site.

That's all,

Casey

Thanks everybody for your comments...

What I'm really interested in buying are the front and rear strut tower bars for my 2002 Impreza RS. Are the Whitelines as "Stiff" as the other brands??? I've heard from other people that some of the cheaper strut bars don't perform as well as the big name brands....
