Heard from anyone on the oil cooler temps? Just curious..

This kit should help reduce oil temps up to 10 degrees C. The best thing about these is the fact that it has a thermostat. So your oil will get up to temps quick, and stay nice and cool.

Nothing worst then having your Oil Pressure start dropping because of hight oil temps...get a oil cooler!

I have it


before i dropped 25 degrees Celsius using this core (in autox with the fog cover open).

on the street my temps normally peaked ~100 and now they are between 90-95 with the fog cover on.

thermostat opens ~80 degrees Celsius.

Could you give some details on the oil cooler kit? I'd be looking to install this on my Legacy, so if I could get the cooler dimensions that would be great. What size are the braided lines, and are they already assembled (hose ends installed)? Last but not least, does the sandwich adapter by chance have provisions for gauge sending unit(s)?

i can take some measurements of my core if RSD doesn't have them measurements.

So where does this oil cooler mount to? Does this mount on the driver's side?

Driver's side "fog light vent" area.

Nice! That's exactly I needed, as CAI will take up my passenger side area and I didn't want to block airflow to radiator. I guess I'll order one soon :) Thanks for answering my question.

The dimensions on the Core are 7.5 Tall, 9" wide. However with the Brackets ears on the core, the width is 12". And is 2" thick.

Let me know if you need some more measurements.
