I have a ton of computer stuff I need to get rid of (moving)
Also, I'm trying to save up for a set of RE960AS Pole Positions (not cheap :( )

1) Sony Trinitron 21" Flat Screen CRT (does 1600x1200 wonderfully) $75
http://svn.eeble.net:8080/~andy/p1110.jpg
2) Viewsonic G773 17" CRT (it's a 'graphics edition, it's pretty nice) $FREE
http://svn.eeble.net:8080/~andy/g773.jpg
4) HP LaserJet 5M (w/ jetdirect) SOLD
5) 3 x 3com 3c905cTX Network cards. $20 each.
http://svn.eeble.net:8080/~andy/3c905c.jpg
6) SparcStation 4 and 5 (you'll know what it is if you have a use for it) $30
This is the ss5
http://svn.eeble.net:8080/~andy/ss5views.jpg
7) 16"(?) Monitor for sun computers. It's flat screen Sony Trinitron. 13w3 connector. $50 perfect condition.
http://svn.eeble.net:8080/~andy/sun_monitor.jpg
8) A compaq storage array (holds 2 scsi drives with a 68 pin scsi connector on the rear)$30
http://svn.eeble.net:8080/~andy/storage_array.jpg

The SparcStations I believe currently run Debian Linux.

The 3c905cTXs are EXCELLENT 10/100 cards that also do PXE booting (booting across the network).

The Sony monitor is a Dell P1110, it is a bit fuzzy around the edges but ask AcquaCow nicely and he'll adjust it for you  I'm getting rid of it because I snagged a great deal on a 22" samsung LCD

The Viewsonic has a good quality picture, a small portion of the anti-glare coating is missing (but is not terribly noticeable) is decent, haven't used it in a bit.

The Nokia does 1024x768 well and has integrated speakers. It has a bunch of pencil writing on it (used it as a scratch pad lol) but it can easily be cleaned (if someone wants it, I'll clean it)

The HP LaserJet is sold

I'm sure there's more stuff in the mix... I'll just have to hunt for it.
All of these are OBO so... make an offer :)

Feel free to PM or IM and make offers, I will be willing to drive SOME of this stuff around (either Fairfax, Springfield, or Reston ONLY... MAYBE Manassas)

make an offer :) it's a pretty decent monitor, I forget what the max resolution is (but it's higher than 1600x1200 @ 75 Hertz)

Woo, another Sun nut!

lol, I've got an SS4 an SS5 an SS10 and an ultra 10
the ss4 and ss5 are for sale. both have harddrives, but the ss4 has more memory...
(The SS10 runs DNS (been up for 190 days) and the ultra 10 runs kerberos (headless, physically secure))

I have a U10 with Solaris 9 loaded. I worked for Sun support for a little under two years. They outsourced most of their entry- to mid-range desktop and server support to EDS back in 2004, and I live near the EDS office. Saw the listing in the paper, took the job in Feb. 2005.

It's a big political mess. They've now outsourced even more of their support. I left there last September, and with the lack of use, unfortunately I've forgotten a lot already.

I'll have to boot it up when I get home and check, iirc it's got 32M of ram and 2GB hdd... the ss4 is actually a faster machine with more ram I think.

Great thing about Sun machines is that they need far less RAM, or even CPU power, to run smoothly, than a PC does.

A buddy of mine is a H-U-G-E Sun nut, has been for years. Works for the Navy now as a system admin, he was the trainer at EDS before. That's where I met him.

I helped him install yet *another* server, in his basement. Yes, that's a SunRack. He's getting another one, probably. We put in the E4500...

That's me, in my decidedly dorky Sun hat. But they gave them to us, at work. :D

I've already got one that I rarely use. Last thing I need is another one. :D

Cool thing about the U10 is that I can use it on my LCD monitor. It's a digital 19" flat-panel. So I run the DVI-D to my Dell, and use the standard input for the U10. There's a switch-screen button.
