How does one switch maps with a laptop hooked up to the utec. I dont have the map selector switch. Read the utec manul but cant figure it out. THanks

Their is a rotary switch on the back of the UTEC. You can just use that.

The only way to switch maps with a laptop is to move maps into the active position.

In other words.. spend the 75 bucks and get a map selector switch.. =P

the switch is very nice to have!! But you can keep pulling the carpet and undoing the kick plate just to switch a map.

i eventually went "all the way" and used a real BCD thumbwheel, but before that i used a simple spst to give me two different maps.

Take the easy route, buy the switch!
