First of all I would like to say this would have to be one of the nicest catch cans on the market. This thing is 100% race ready you can tell just by looking at it that is was designed for racing with high powered cars. I know that Phil has done hours and hours of track testing to ensure that this catch can does what it was meant to do. So if you are a road racer with a high powered car and are tired of looking for a catch can that works give Phil a call at Element Tuning 240 246 0302. He will be happy to send one your way.

Are you still using the PCV valve with this setup?
Is there any way you can post up the line routing diagram for this system?
I am very curious about how/if they are tying the valve cover & crank case vents together.

Pretty much you run the smaller lines to the heads and tee them together and then hook it up to the CC. Use the Bigger line and hook it up to the crank case. I dont use the PCV system anymore on my car so i just block it off on the intake mainfold and hooked the line up crank case and ran it to the CC.
I can make a diagram later for ya.

So it ties the crank case & the valve cover systems together & just vents them out then.....hmmmmmm.
Whats to pull the gases from the crank case with this system?
From all the research I have done it seems important to keep some vacuum in the crank case, thats why some are using a pump if they decide to block off the PCV.
Maybe whatever the valve cover system is pushing out in conjunction with venting it is enough to pull the gases out of the crank case.
Well, it must work if Element is using it on their time attack car. But would it be OK for everyday driving?

I got the Element can (Finally, waited a month), the quality is outstanding, welds are second to none. All the hardware that came with it is top notch.
Install was very easy.
I blocked off the PCV like they recommend for race applications, I believe this is a must personally, otherwise you essentially have a vacuum leak because the can is vented to the air.
The only thing I don't like about it is that you definitely have an oil smell from the exhausting gasses. I kinda expected that though.

looks like an $80 moroso can with an extra AN bung welded on...don't see the big deal unless he has baffled the inside.
