It has to do with the inner rim clearing the STi brembo calipers. The 17" subzeros do not. Neither do the Actions, Attacks, Battles, Downshifts, Formels, Slipstreams (although 17x8.5" will), Tarmacs (although Tarmac IIs and Tarmac IIIs will) or Vortex. |
