I've seen the X-Line white which only has the smoked lens. Looks blue-ish. I hope the DSD series which offers a clear lens looks more white.

We can get you the ATI or DEFI triple meter pods, the Autometer cluster pod Id have to check stock on. I think right now we are down to the Amber Black Face X-Line, but have more comming friday. The amber is as close as it gets to the STI cluster. Shoot me a pm and I can get something going for ya :)

rathead, yes they come in smoke lens and standard. No controller needed, the smoke lens DSD would be a very good match to the STI gauges. 3 Bar boost Gauge is $159 shipped, or additional discounts offered for 3 or more gauges :cool:

Hey guys, gauges are being installed on the STI sunday and an evo, pics will follow!! Gauge accessories are also offered :)

1. Is the gauge on the far left the Black Amber and the gauge in the middle right the SLM amber? Is that the reason for the color difference, or is it just the picture?

2. Is 270 degree sweep and the start-up mode two different things? For the X-Line, does that mean the other gauges will do a start-up sweep, but the mechanical boost will not?

3. Are either of the gauge lines capable of doing a simple start-up sweep, similar to the STi cluster (but maybe not 100% in sync). Or are they all kind of crazy like this http://youtube.com/watch?v=iXVkTBKTE9w
I watched the examples on StriRacing.com, but is that how they are, or can you make them different like not having the warn lights flash?

4. For the SLM amber gauges, is the color on the DSD line the same as the amber on the X-Line posted above?

yeah.. what brian asked. i just want a 60mm electric gauge that matches the sti cluster the best and does the opening sweep and reads in PSI with user preset warning... i guess this would be the DSD model.. but like brian said.. the pic is confusing with the two different shades of amber.

Which model line and color did you go with?

DSD SLM II in white backlight... too bad they don't have black face with green blacklight otherwise I would've been all over it.

Also, does the dim work with the subaru? I know some gauges won't dim with the subarus because of how our dimmers work (variable negative as opposed to most others variable positive).

Chris said it was SLM II White, so that means smoked lens white.

Yeah, the X-Line pictured looks a little bit blue.

Ive noticed the flash reflects right off the lense making it look blue-ish, which could be the case with the xline picture. I have a set of DSD SLM II white being installed friday, Ill post those pics as well with some flashless closeups while lit so everyone can get a better idea too :) PMed everyone too!

jim, we have a customer installing these shortly, and our car is being completed with the sensors shortly as well, this is a big question I know so we are moving as quickly as possible, our guy is dying to know as well :) Ill be sure to post up about this shortly, but based on the current install dont forsee any issues.

I just installed them today on my car. The dimming does work!!! :banana: As soon as you turn on your parking lights or headlights, it will dim. I bought the white guages instead of amber since I have a WRX. The brightness output is a few steps down in from just the normal "ON" position. The Illumination while dimmed will not cause distractions or strain the eyes during night driving.

I tried to adjust the gauge lights with the car's dimmer but it does not work. I am not sure if there is a manual adjustment but I am fine with the factory preset setting.


Chris, I will have pictures as soon as I get the vacuum leak issue resolved. I think its leaking somewhere around the T-fitting and BPV.

I had them in my car in DSD SLM II 60MM White, and they are a bit more towards the blue side, like a Super White LED look with a blue'ish tint :)
