I have an 04 forester that has had the airbags pop. The airbags have been replaced, however the airbag light has remained on, I was told I need to replace my ECU to clear the light on an 04 model.

Is this true?
If not,how do you clear the light?

Are you talking about replacing your Airbag module(ecu)? Or engine ECU?
Did you get the front impact sensors replaced also?
