SiFuSpEc 03-23-2007, 12:19 AM i think merc is going to be in a constant battle with Chevy to see who can make their badges the biggest on the grille..
kennyvb 03-23-2007, 12:23 AM yeah, can the emblem be any bigger? wrong forum.
jlagace 03-23-2007, 12:25 AM The tail lights sure do look funky. In fact, the whole back end is messed up.
C-Class is alright, it's for people who want the big Mercedes emblem but aren't really that baller.
The only one worth giving a damn about was the C32 AMG, and that didn't even come in manual.
Does Subaru make a C-class now???
Nope, i didn't think so.
dvon1981 03-23-2007, 12:34 AM hmmm much more agressive...interesting
BlkFlat4 03-23-2007, 12:43 AM The huge emblem is too much of an ego inflator for me
djerickd 03-23-2007, 12:56 AM I'd rock it
Ghosthound 03-23-2007, 01:22 AM Does Subaru make a C-class now???
Nope, i didn't think so.
maybe its the new impreza?
kenny08 03-23-2007, 01:26 AM looks like a warped and deformed s550
Vostok 7 03-23-2007, 01:33 AM Even the Bangle-ized 3-series is better looking.
Vostok 7
thejaredhuang 03-23-2007, 01:37 AM Before the move/lock.
Didn't they release C pictures a while ago?
Mechie3 03-23-2007, 01:42 AM Merc Owner to self " :( my man parts are too small...oh, look at my giant grill emblem, I feel better now :)"
Some of the lines look like some late 90's jags.
mobilezen 03-23-2007, 02:13 AM I didn't know they took design cues straight from the Acura RL.... horrible remake.
phoenix96 03-23-2007, 03:18 AM The appropriate place for this would be:

only if it looks like a Mazda :D
morektzdaddy 03-23-2007, 06:23 PM Shrunken S-Klasse.
sil0nt 03-23-2007, 06:57 PM For what it is, I think it's a fine looking car. Could have been a lot more mundane and mediocre, but they took some risks.
sti.2005.blk 03-23-2007, 06:59 PM the front end reminds me of a evo, with that aggresive look to it.
importdriver 03-23-2007, 08:30 PM The essentially brought the emblem from a ML and put it in this one...
But other than that, I like it.
enXiks 03-24-2007, 02:54 AM Very good looking car.
02redwagone 03-24-2007, 03:48 AM Horrid badge with a car riding on it. Rediculous.
elohdaeh78 03-24-2007, 11:18 AM I think the front of that car is amazing looking, and i like the wheels but the back is awkward. THat is the AMG version correct? If not i wonder if the amg is going to be even more aggressive, i like the wheels.
John C 03-24-2007, 12:14 PM It kinda works up to the c-pillar, then it goes all Hyundai.
And what's with that badge?
quentinberg007 03-24-2007, 01:40 PM This car screams "European pedestrian crash requirements ****ed me" with the badge in the grill and the really vertical nose. Back in the day, only the top end Mercedes had the badge in the grill (CL, SL, etc. and eventually coupes/convertibles/suvs for some reason). I think we'll see the badge in the grill on the next S and E class due to hood ornaments being not-so-pedestrian friendly.

The cars will be available in "Luxury" or "Sport" editions. The "Luxury" editions have the traditional grille with the hood ornament, and the "Sport" editions have the large badge in the grille.
quentinberg007 03-24-2007, 11:00 PM Touche. My point still stands by the very vertical nose. There is something that looks terribly wrong about this car.
