I was wondering if it is possible to swap an early version JDM WRX or STi motor into my 2002 WRX? I also have a 2006 Tranny if that makes any difference. If it is possible, how hard is this going to be to do, and does anyone know of a great vendor from whoem to purchase the motor?

Hi. At a guess you would have least problems with V5 and 6 since they have the same ECU as your WRX and therefore (possibly?) same or similar wiring loom, sensors and anything else that's related.

if your 02 motor is toast swap in a 257 short block
