I am looking to buy a 1st generation 2 Door 2.5 RS . I'm located in Everett, WA. I am willing to travel a bit if I find one I like (BC, OR, or ID). Please let me know what you guys have. Thanks.

What do you really want?

1st Generation RS's only came in '98-'01. Of those, only '00 and '01 models came in a GC chassis. None of these were GC8's.

Are you looking for any 2.5RS? Only 4-door cars? Or will any first generation Impreza work for you?

if you're looking for the 2.5 liter "old body style," yeah you're limited to 1998-2001. There's a thread somewhere around here (FAQ maybe) that discusses all the chassis codes, options, configurations, etc.
