Is it possible to put 2006 WRX rear hubs on a 01 RS? The reason is, I can get the rear hubs off a 06 WRX along with the Subaru red 2 pot rear brakes to match my front brakes but I am not sure if the axles are the same or if the hubs are even going to bolt up. Thanks ahead.

it's all Legos Matt, All Subarus are just legos (I call the Legacy stuff Duplo because it's big and rarely works with the impreza stuff haha).

That's strange since 80+% of the parts on the BC/BF chassis Legacy were carried over to the GC/GF Impreza. Or maybe you are talking about the BD/BG Legacy? That shares more with the GD Imprezas than the earlier cars...

so Jaxx the guru you are, i have a jdm gc8 rear disc conversion on the way, have a 96 2.2l coupe with drums right now, i'm hoping to put the 06 wrx front and rear brakes on, since i work for a dealer the local subaru dealer sells calipers to rotors, the whole bit for much cheaper than aftermarket, are these new 2 pots going to bolt right up to my gc8 backing plates? will I need to re-use the gc8 hubs? the front appears to bolt right up unless i am mistaken

no you will need the 2pot backing plates (they have to be pressed on) or a kartboy adapter

oh ok, thank you, so i can order all the parts from the dealer, get performance 4 pot/2 pot pads and rotors elsewhere and get the brackets from fastwrx.com? I saw they had some, will those work: http://www.fastwrx.com/retwcaad.html and aren't the 06 rear rotors bigger than the older us wrx's? if so won't i need to ask for 06 wrx rear rotors when I get performance rotors? thanks for any help, how was painting your engine bay?...i saw an old pic of you standing in the engine bay yesterday
