Hi All,
I have a few little scratches on my Impreza, they seem pretty minor to me but I just hate seeing them. Is there a cheap, easy way to remove these scratches?
I've heard good things about Mothers California Gold Scratch Remover & 3M™ Finesse-It™ II Finishing Material. Does anyone have any experience with these products? Are they any good? Which is better? And are there any other good scratch removal products that are better than the two listed above?
Thanks for any help :)

I've used the 3M Finnese it II, and it works good. If the scratches are'nt too deep, I've had really good results with Maguiers 3 part cleaner/polish/wax system. Comes in purple bottles and is available at most auto parts stores for around $15 for all 3.;) If the scratches are deeper you may have to start with something like Turtle wax white polishing compund. Good luck

Thanks for the reply Chris.
Is that Maguiers 3 part cleaner/polish/wax system a cleaning system or is that for scratch removal? And has anyone else had any experience with these scratch removal products.

the Meguiares is a cleaner/polish/wax system - one for each of those. I use it and it works great, goes on easy etc.
For the scratch - Meguiares has something called scratch-x. Haven't used it, but it might work for you. They also have something called the quick-clay detailing system. I've seen it raved about on on the i-club site.
Check out www.meguiars.com - lots of good info. (rim and tire cleaners are great too - I went all out :) )

I am a big fan of the 3M products. From least aggressive to more aggressive for use by hand are:
3M Swirl Mark Remover
3M Finesse It II Finishing Material
3M Perfect it Fine Cut Rubbing Compound.
FI II sometimes leaves a haze that you can remove with the SMR or other polish material before you seal or wax.
