I saw these two new WRX models on the Subaru of japan's official website, one is WRX type NB-R and WRX STi-type RA spec C, does anyone know anything about these new models???

If anyone can understand Japanese please translate the despriptions of those new models so we know what's going on........it lookes like there is a new chassis designed for the new age impreza.......and lots more, but with my broken japanese I cannot understand most of it (I'm not jap). so any help would be appreciated.:)

It looks like the WRX Type NB-R comes with a new redesigned rear spoiler that looked a lot bigger and taller than the current OEM spoilers that we got here in the U.S, does anyone know if our dealer can import those spoilers?

Type RA Spec C looks beauuuutifulllll. :p I wish they can put a LSD in the front too so it can take on the Evo 7.

Looks like the NB-R is just a step between the regular WRX and the STI. I do like that bigger rear spolier though!

There is discussion in "News and Rumors" from someone who can translate Japanese.

The spoiler on the NB-R is the same one we have now with a one piece riser, kind like the two piece Zerosports pieces.

anyone happen to notice the rims on the STI Type RA spec C page, white car, middle of the page!!??? could someone please tell me what's going on.... is this the latest trend in Japan soon to be here on the shores of America??? if so, i want a set. Talk about big pimpin'.....

The RA C-spec is without a doubt the lightweight racing edition. Notice the gutted out front-end, lack of a spoiler, and the steel wheels on that picture in the middle of the page.

Notice how the spoiler's are getting taller and taller? Just like how the original STi had a low spoiler, then by Ver. 4 it had a 2.5RS like spoiler, then 6 had that distinctive rooftop level wing.

By next year the "bug-eye" look will fade away...hopefully.:lol:

wannawagon, they put steal wheels on the spec C because spec C is usually sold to rally teams and usually once the rally team buys the car they will put their own wheels on as well as painting and putting decals on the car hence only color comes in spec C is white.

werd. I say keep em on.

stiguy555, the STi v2, v3, and v4 and all the R/RA's all had the same spoiler as the one on the 2.5RS coupe ;).
