View Full Version : What is the strongest, most toxic wheel cleaner? Hyper 03-29-2007, 02:20 AM Ferodo 3000.... yep:lol: I've spent an hour on each wheel scratching the brake composite with a wrench! Unabomber 03-29-2007, 07:36 AM My favorite is Castrol wheel cleaner. If you search in the 2.5L forum, there was a thread about a concrete cleaner that someone used for their BBS wheels with great results. Aaron'z 2.5RS 03-29-2007, 01:17 PM Bead blast cab, with 120g silicon carbide.... woops, not the MOST toxic... wait, you said clean, not strip... mikeythejew 03-29-2007, 06:20 PM Muriatic Acid. broben05 03-29-2007, 07:21 PM Acids work well but mainly they are used on chrome as they will strip paint as readily as they will strip brake dust or any other wheel gunk. That being said a mix of bleach and ammonia works wonders +1 if used in a confined space. A real citrus based degreaser normally works well without killing the wheels. |
