Where exactly is the DCCD controller or sensor an 04 sti transmission? Is it the plug that is directly infront of the yellow dipstick on the transmission? If not what is that plug? It seems to have been broken meaning the clip is still plugged in and it is broke above the base. How do I get that sensor out, do I have to remove the whole transmission?

Ok can anyone tell me what the DCCD connector looks like on the transmission.

The DCCD connector should be the 6 pin connector that is shared with the Reverse and Nuetral switches. It almost sounds like your broken connector is the speed sensor.

Thanks, do you know how to change the speedo sensor?

Here are some pics of the broke sensor for clarification.
