Anyone know why a cruise light would blink on an 06 Forester? GF says it happend on her car, she turned the car off, back on and then it went away. I've never seen or heard of blinking cruise on a Subaru - anyone know what it means?

She popped a CEL. Normally it take 3 key cycles to make it non active.

A loose gas cap can do it.

or over boosting for 3 secs will cause it to kick on along with check engine, so i don't know what would be just cruise light
