Now in testing...
MadDad(TM) will soon be introducing it's Clarity D-ONE (Digital One) Series multi-function 52mm gauge system. This single 52mm gauge sytem will be available in two different color options: a teal green for WRX applications and Amber/Red for STi. Some of the feature highlights include:
* Single multi-function 52mm gauge with adjustable display configurations combining Boost, EGT and Oil Temp or Water Temp(sending unit support full 0 - 400 degree range so can function as either).
* The first gauge to support more than 30 psi right out of the box(actually support 85 psi with the supplied sending unit)
* Single control box consolidates all wiring for ease of installation - only one wire goes to the gauge/display unit
* MULTIPLE BOOST WARNINGS - Yes you read that right. Not one, but two separate boost warnings can be set and can control external triggers to light off external warning lamps or other functions. This could come in handy if you do track duty and really need to be warned with a larger warning light. Dual warnings means you could set one for peak boost and one for "your really in trouble"
* Gauge will flash and bring warning to front for any gauge that sees the warning reached.
* Boost has true calibaration mode that can be run auto or manual mode that will adjust for altitude differences.(or any other reason should you decide to adjust it manually)
* Boost dispaly has configurable update rates(up to 8 times per second) and supports a hold mode that will pause when a new peak has been reached.
* Adjustable warnings on all gauges.
* Dimmable Vaccum Florestant lighting will dim when your headlights are on and black out when the care is off.
* Premium level sending units
* 2 year warrantee
* 30 day money back gaurantee
The system will run in the $399 to $439 range including control box, all sending units and all wiring needed, 52mm univeral base, and 52mm gauge visor.
Late summer we will be following up with a Boost, EGT, Oil Pressure combo in the $499 range.
We have our production samples in hand right now and will be testing the two units over the next couple of weeks. Pics will be posted next week to show the color match for WRX and STi.
For the money there is literally nothing on the market that combines the functionality and quality these gauges will represent. Everything from the premium sending units to the to the heavy duty gauge body(only an inch thick) to the control unit to the wiring will exceed everyone's expectations. I'm pretty excited about the this one. The only reason I didn't post some pics tonight is because they forgot to send me the control module to gauge display wiring :(
