Does anybody know which "DOT" brake fluid comes stock in the 07 STI's? The owners manual does not say and the cap on the resivor says, "use dot 3 only". The dealer said it has dot 4, but I am now supicious.

For the street, any name brand DOT 3, 4, or 5.1 will be fine to mix with stock.

No not at all. The only one you can't mix is DOT 5, silicone based fluid.

3,4, and 5.1 are 100% aok to mix.
