Can i run 1000cc denso injectors on my UTEC 5.8?

Im lost guys.

Are the high or low impedance?

UTEC only powers high impedance injectors

They were from a friends CA18det in jamaica that i got from him in a trade and i just remembered that i got them after kicking over a box in my storeroom yesterday lol.... i would say they are high impedance.

Measure the impedance because if they are low impedance the UTEC will not run them and you could actually damage the UTEC injector drivers by trying to. Otherwise you will just need to setup the open loop fueling parameters correctly.

Oh no i see the naughty words 'open loop fueling' i wonder if its worth it?

All im going to run is a PowerEnterprise 1820 so i am not even sure if it will be a smart decision, would it be better to just trade them for some 650's

CA18DET's use low impedence injectors. thats why they have resistor boxes.

Oh well dang it... i guess i will have to get these sold :( Thanks for helping me not fail. :( :)

It is easier to fix it up for big injectors by at least roughly adjusting the injectors and MAF curve on a reflash. You can up idle as well which might help.

I don't think there is really any limit on the UTEC itself on injector size, besides the above about impedance.
