As we gear up for the spring season we have also been gearing up for rally season. In addition to the great news about our new product lines below in our other post, we have some incredible news about our showing at Rally NY this past weekend in Monticello. I would like to Congratulate Rick Spaulding and Niall Johnson for the effort, determination, and consistency they showed us at this event. The reward for all the hard work put in by this team resulted in a podium finish!!!!! We placed 3rd in our class beating out many competitors with much more experienced drivers and more heavily modified cars! In the future our web site will have updates complete with in car video and pictures from exciting venues such as Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally June 2-3, 2007 and Main Forest Rally July 13-14, 2007. Our complete schedule will be updated and on-line with our new web site coming mid April...

Stay Tuned.........

The Team @ Synaptic 3 Engineering

Huge thanks to the professionals at Synaptic 3. The rally car was so well-prepped that morning service was tweaks to tire pressure as temps went up, mid-day service was conversion to gravel spec, and afternoon service was cleaning windows and numbers (yes all services included fluids/lug specs/usual checks) because nothing was breaking or getting loose. I purchased this vehicle used and many electrical gremlins have been hunted down and removed by Dana, Ron and Aaron. The new Hella 110 dB horns worked well when a couple spectator SUV's thought that time control was a great place to stop beside each other so they could chat. Niall did a fantastic job as navi. I can't wait for our next event!

You assume correctly and thanks! Two other folks instrumental to the team's success were djruslan and Angie (Niall's GF.) I appologize for not mentioning them earlier. I had gotten less than 6 hours total sleep in the 3 nights preceeding the rally (work and travel to/from Ohio for my father-in-law's funeral.) Russell drove the tow vehicle most of the way to the venue so I could sleep and he brought along some great tunes for us. Angie had the windows so clean in service that Aaron thought the side windows had been left down.
