I'm looking at picking up a set of *lighter* 17x7 or 17x7.5 wheels as summer/track wheels. I've found a set of Work Emotion CR's for what I consider a good price -$750.
1) Is this the same wheel as --> Work Emotion Forged 17x7.5 15.3#
2) Would this make a good wheel for track?
3) Is this a good price for used Work Emotions?

1) no, the cr (discontinued) and cr-kai are cast. they're closer to 19 to 20lbs in the sizes you mentioned
2) they're definitely strong but not the lightest. 7" isn't that wide either (even for a wagon) and limits the tires you can use.
3) not bad

I'd spend the extra $250 and get something really light. rpf1s or even Koseis are 15.5 pounds or so in 17x8! Dunno about 17x7.
