I broke down and got a UTEC to go along with my 2005 sti....

It has not been upgraded to the newest software, so I downloaded it and updated it...

I got the first file to install in to it " STI_2.3b.mot " and could upload a map to it afterwards... Now I am wondering what the extra file " STIDBW_4.mot " has to be installed on top of that??? I would assume it does, but it won't install, or I am doing something wrong...

Another question is the parameter file that is listed on the site...
Does it have to be installed as well... I tried it, and it says it can't install it either...

For give me if I missed all of this in my searches...
The reason I got this is to do speed density tuning...
And the instructions for upgrading it are a little vague...

The other file is Drive By Wire. DO NOT INSTALL IT. Tab down to the parameters and upload the parameters file. I think it's ctrl-u

DBW is totally different, plus like you said in your first post. you wanted to do Speed Density tuning. The normal upgrade has SD.
