I have 17x8. RE960's don't come in 235/40 so i can either go with 225/45 or 235/45. Anybody else have the same size rim with these tires?

Also, are these tires directional?

[edit] ok i'm a dum dum. they are directional. there's a "-> rotation" meaning these should point forward. can't wait to break them in.

just put a set of those on my 16s for winter driving. the re960 pole positions 205/55WR 16s are great! have seen 4k of snow ice rain and dry, and wow! as soon as that mold release got scrubbed away they stuck like glue in even the worst conditions. my wiper blades couldent move water fast enough but still at 70 with no visability, it felt like there was no rain on the roads. in the snow, well, they aren't a blizzax, but are ok, way better than the re92's. havent seen any auto-x time but they seem to squeel alot even before the limit of traction, it must be the agressive tread pattern that is directional but not left side right side specific

My stock wheels (17x8) are very happy with 225/45R17 RE960ASPP on them. That said, just like the stock RE070s, the speedo reads about 3 high at 60mph. The STI's in japan come with 235/45R17 tires so I'm sure they'd be just fine on USDM cars.

I ended up getting 225/45/17. what tire pressures do you have? mine are at 38 psi for all but i think i'd like to take them down a little bit.

I've been pretty satisfied running them at 36f/35r cold pressures.
