WTF I'm so confused. Please let me know about the maps to thanks. letstakeasmokeride 04-07-2007, 10:05 PM your most likley not running lean cause the base maps from turboxs are rich to begin with. looking at the fuel maps, it seems the stg2 map is acctually a lil richer in the mid rpms but stg3 is richer in the top end. it all depends on your setup. fastlanerex 04-08-2007, 01:29 AM my setup is as follows turboxs intake Fmic helix upipe invidia v3 catless downpipe turboxs catback hks ssqv bov Utec Currently i am running the stage 2 basemap. I know I know I need to get tuned on the dyno. But for now should I bump it up to the stage 3 basemap until I can schedule to get tuned? bpwatts 04-08-2007, 10:28 AM my setup is as follows turboxs intake Fmic helix upipe invidia v3 catless downpipe turboxs catback hks ssqv bov Utec Currently i am running the stage 2 basemap. I know I know I need to get tuned on the dyno. But for now should I bump it up to the stage 3 basemap until I can schedule to get tuned? is the car idling okay? are your AFRs "seeking" at idle around the 13.8:1 ~ 15.1:1 range? personally, i'd run it in stock mode until you are tuned. the stock stage 2 map from turboxs is rich - probably for liability reasons - not because its supposed to be that way. running too rich will lead to a host of other issues. stay in stock mode, stay off boost. get yourself some gauges and a wideband. fastlanerex 04-09-2007, 09:33 PM Okay After I went completely catless and installed the upipe I was still running the stage 2 ots map. Just driving normally not wot or anything kinda cruising, somtimes when I would shift the cel would flash at me which lets me know that knock sensor detected somthing then out of my exhaust a loud bang. Sounds like an effing shotgun. Anyways I figured what the hell and switched it to stage 3 so far so good. Still get a loud bang every now and again but no knock is detected. Ill keep ya posted only drove it with stage 3 for 48 miles now. bpwatts 04-10-2007, 10:08 AM Okay After I went completely catless and installed the upipe I was still running the stage 2 ots map.
