notice i didnt say anything about injectors
didnt get to log the runs didnt think i was going to dyno that day

running a little rich? or a typo?

Why so rich? 10:1 seems too high.

I got my car tuned yesterday and went from a relatively stock stage 2 map (adjusted for boost) running 9.5-10.0:1 and the tuner dropped it to 12:1. It went from 276/274 to 299/322 on a DynoJet.

i like to keep it rich im looking for 10-1 to 11-1 like keeping it safe 12-1 seams a little lean how much timing are you runing

Oh, and I am running enough timing to make you say "sweet jesus" :D

hey, that's my line! i'll be seeing what i can use with master's map after my egt is installed. i want to see what all this crazy ass timing is doing to the EGTs. the timing up high was a bit nuts, don't think i could run that and stay sane ;)

My EGT's are around 1600F. Thats at WOT in 5th gear. At the track last week I saw about 1650. Just to give you an idea. My EGT bung is in the 3rd header pipe.

good info! i'll be able to compare notes tomorrow when i get home. is 1650 considered the ceiling? what's considered the unsafe range? i can probably search for that...

As far as I have heard, 1700 is THE HIGHEST you ever want to see. But I am happy with a couple of mins at 1650. Most WOT around town I see about 1550.
